What is the G-Cloud 13 Framework?

More commonly referred to as G-Cloud, the Government Cloud Framework is a service provided by Crown Commercial Services. Ir runs on a 12-month basis, the latest iteration is G-Cloud 13.

This online catalogue gives public sector organisations within central government, charity, education, health, local authority, and blue light services (to name a few) access to cloud-based goods and services. Suppliers on the framework have to meet stringent standards in a legally compliant manner.

Cloud services provider for the UK public sector

G-Cloud 13 endorses Transalis as a trusted provider of cloud automation services for public sector organisations. This includes; EDI, integration, eInvoice and our other document standardisation solutions.

Commenting on this recognition, Aniello Sabatino, Transalis Founder and Joint Managing Director, said;

“We are very proud at Transalis to have earned the certification for G-Cloud 13. Connecting organisations is key to everything we do, so offering our services to the public sector is really important.

We know that digitisation in this sector is increasing. Looking at one area in particular: eInvoicing, governments worldwide are mandating the use of digital tax reporting and RTR. Whilst there is no general B2G eInvoicing mandate in the UK, the UK has required government departments to be able to receive eInvoices from suppliers. The exception to voluntary B2G eInvoicing in the UK relates to supplies to the NHS, where we are an accredited PEPPOL Access Point.

At Transalis, we pride ourselves in fully understanding our clients’ needs and tackling the issues they face. It’s this tailored approach to automation that means we can implement entirely unique and scalable cloud solutions.”

What this could mean for public sector organisations

Our most recent launches, AP Automation and AR Automation, target the inefficiencies of invoice processing for both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. This is especially important for large public sector organisations that process huge volumes of inbound documents from multiple suppliers. The ability to remove the burden of manual processing means organisations can run more efficiently and cost-effectively, with an average ROI between 60-80%.

Public sector organisations in the UK can access Transalis cloud solutions via our listing on the G-Cloud 13 online catalogue.
