Transalis is one of the few EDI companies certified as an AS4 Peppol Provider, meeting the highest level of international public procurement standards. Standing for Pan-European Public Procurement Online, Peppol is an EDI protocol designed to simplify purchasing processes between government bodies and private suppliers. It enables trading partners to exchange standardised electronic documents, such as; eInvoices, orders, Advance Shipment Notices (ASNs), catalogues, and message-level responses.

Following our Peppol accreditation we were awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s Peppol access point framework. This means we can transfer invoices and other business documents on behalf of NHS providers and suppliers, across the Peppol system.

The ISO 27001 data security standard recognises Transalis’ systematic approach to ensuring customers have a reliable and secure platform for automating transactions, minimising the need for costly manual processes and their associated errors. The internationally recognised accreditation followed a rigorous independent assessment in which the Transalis team demonstrated a coherent and comprehensive suite of data security and risk management controls.

A cyber security programme backed by the UK government, Cyber Essentials requires accredited organisations to ensure they can defend themselves against the vast majority of internet-based attacks.
