Transalis is one of just five companies across Europe participating in the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) eDelivery Action, a project co-financed by the European Commission through the #CEFTelecom Call Program.
Transalis was awarded a grant as part of the CEF eDelivery building block to support public administrations and private entities to exchange electronic data and documents with other public administrations and businesses in an interoperable, secure and reliable way.
The award is part of the CEF eDelivery Action No: 2019-EU-IA-0009. Promoting European AS4 Access Points. The main objective of this project – PROAS4 – is to implement the AS4 protocol and upgrade the Service Metadata Publishers (SMP) of 5 certified PEPPOL Access Points (AP) for the cross-border exchange of electronic documents.
Transalis co-founders and Joint Managing Directors Aniello Sabatino and Paul Simpson say the firm‘s clients will benefit from the most up to date technology in compliance with European regulations.
Aniello said: “As an AS4-accredited PEPPOL provider, we are able to give our customers complete peace of mind that our cloud platform services are recognised for government and healthcare supply chain procurement here in the UK and across Europe. eDelivery has several benefits for all public and private parties, including the reduction of processing costs and time, reduction of storage costs, reduction of printing and postage costs, and more.”
Paul said “Standardisation is a key factor of trade policy because it contributes to the removal of technical barriers to trade. It also increases market access and international trade and enhances cooperation at the international level. The use of the European Standard helps EU industry to access to global markets.”
