Tunisia eInvoicing regulations
eInvoicing is actively promoted by the government.
The Tunisie TradeNet (TTN) operates the ‘el fatoora’ platform which uses electronic invoice format (XML) and digital signatures.
As an organisation under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance, TTN sends a copy of all accepted eInvoices to the IT centre of the Ministry of Finance. Firstly, this enables the eInvoices to be forwarded to the accountants of ministries and public authorities via a dedicated system, and secondly, it facilitates various uses by the fiscal authorities.
